As you know, the Science Fair committee loves the Scientific Method. We found this great image so we thought we'd "tag" it for you!
All Blossom Hill families are invited to attend Family Science Night featuring "Extreme Science" by David Hagerman. Watch the school's newsletter "The Beehive" for more details as we get closer to the date of the event.
The Science Fair will hold a parent info night on Thursday, January 28 at 7:30 pm. A Zoom link will be emailed to parents the night before the meeting. We hope to see you there! Please email the Science Fair committee with any questions if you are not able to attend.
The Science Fair committee added images of past projects to the "Presentations" tab. These projects are to be used for reference only. Your student will likely have many more creative ideas for projects and presentations.
As a reminder, this year's projects will be presented virtually, either by video, google slides, or both. Check back soon for more detailed information on requirements for virtual presentations.
The Science Fair committee took over Mrs. Grespan's library time the week of January 4, 2021 to kick off Science Fair season! Participating students were able to learn about the scientific method, creative problem solving and how to come up with relevant projects. Michelle Avlas (committee member) also read "Ada Twist, Scientist" by Andrea Beaty to students.
Many thanks to our librarian and Science Fair champion, Amy Grespan, for allowing the committee to join library sessions this week. Students who were not able to participate in library this week will be able to participate in a make up session later this month.
Parents can view the slide presentation from library time below. Videos shared during the slideshow are available next to the presentation. Parents are also encouraged to participate in a Parent Info Night on Thursday, January 28 at 7:30 pm to learn more about the new virtual format.
